Tomorrowland, a festival built to hold nearly half a million people, is now trying to squeeze through one front door.
A new contest launched by the iconic EDM festival brand promises to relocate the experience itself into a winner’s home for one night, complete with a live DJ and “festival-grade production.” Where past Tomorrowland viewing parties involved a laptop, a livestream link and whatever snacks were on hand, this version promises to “turn your living room into a stage.”
Neither Tomorrowland nor Coca-Cola has detailed what “festival-grade production” will actually mean once it is scaled down to a single address, including stage rigging, lighting trusses and LED screens. They also have not announced the identity of the performing DJ or how long the “party” will last. EDM.com reached out to Tomorrowland for clarification but did not receive a response by press time.
Entrants are asked to upload a short video of the room in which they want to host the takeover and make the case for why it deserves the visit. The application also asks, “Who are the people you would celebrate with?” and “What makes your home and your crew the perfect setting for a night like this?”
Tomorrowland is set to return to Belgium across two weekends, July 16–19 and July 23–26, following the disastrous 2025 fire that decimated the festival’s Mainstage, a structure that took two years to build. This year’s event brings a new theme, which organizers called “one of the most ambitious creative journeys in Tomorrowland’s history,” and a massive lineup featuring Calvin Harris, Martin Garrix, Hardwell, ILLENIUM, David Guetta and more.
