Tape B and Dani King have teamed up to release ‘Underneath Your Skin,’ a slow-burning dubstep banger featuring Dani King.

The track arrives more than three years in the making. The EDM.com Class of 2025 artist revisited and rewrote it multiple times over that stretch, at one point walking away from it entirely before shaping it into what he now considers one of his favorite records, per a press release.

King’s stentorian voice shimmers atop stripped-back production in the verse, singing, “I wanna feel the magic / The way it takes you high / Let me set your heart on fire.” The arrangement then plunges into a growling drop, driven by Tape B’s signature vowel bass.

‘Underneath Your Skin’ continues a broader creative shift for Tape B, who shelved his popular “Driptapes” remix series last year to focus on writing his debut album. It’s unclear whether or not the new single will appear on the record, the title and release date of which remain under wraps.

The release continues a prolific 2026 for the Istanbul-raised breakout. He’s currently on the road with Levity for the ‘Summer Program’ amphitheater tour and has a nearly sold-out two-night Red Rocks takeover lined up for October, building on recent collaborations with Zeds Dead and Subtronics (‘Word Scramble’) and Of The Trees (‘Brackish’). Meanwhile, King has been on a tear as well, releasing collaborations with BARELY ALIVE, TYNAN, SampliFire and more this year.
